For Dominican Bachata, at the moment due to the balance, you can only join either with a partner or as leader. During the classes everyone changes partner so you can join with anyone as your leader.

– For couple passes both need to purchase and register separately and mark each others name in the notes.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON FOLLOWER PASSES
At Avec we aim to keep a good balance in the classes and only accept a few extra leaders or followers for each class. If no follower passes are available you can only join with a leader for the couple offer or you can join the class as a leader and learn to lead! During the classes everyone changes partners, no exceptions, so you can ask anyone to join as your registration partner. Ask a loved one, friend, colleague, relative or random stranger. You can also ask a follower that is interested to learn to lead if you are not interested in leading.

ALL REGISTRATIONS
During registration select the role you will be dancing as. In general when it’s the first time dancing men dance as leaders and ladies as followers. But more we accept anyone in any role and recommend experienced dancers to join in the opposite roles to improve their dancing.
COUPLE / PARTNER REGISTRATIONS
When registering with a partner, both will need to register individually as all registrations are personal. If its a gift you can register yourself twice but purchasing a leader and follower pass.
Please mark the first and last name of your partner in the registration notes if possible.
During the classes everyone changes partners, no exceptions!
REGISTERING FOR 2 OR MORE BOOTCAMPS/TRYOUTS
When signing up for the 1st try-out purchase the 2x pass, then the remain session will remain available on your account. Then sign up for the 2nd try-out.
ALL SALES & REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL
All registrations are for the selected date, time, teachers.
No refunds, in case you can’t come we can give you a complimentary pass for a later date if available or you can sell/give away your spot to someone. Contact Omar through WA if you can’t make it.

Omar & Johanna
Dance Teachers & Event Organisers
Omar & Johanna are Helsinki-based Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba teachers and event organisers who have been growing the Afro-Latin / SBK social dance scene since 2012. Through their classes and events, they have helped 1,000+ students go from their very first steps to dancing confidently at parties.
They teach all levels, from complete beginners to experienced dancers, mainly at Avec Dance Club in Vallila. Their classes are taught in English and welcome both locals and internationals. Through I Dance Helsinki, they have also organised 1,000+ dance events in Helsinki, creating regular opportunities for people to learn, connect and dance.
